I am an artist inspired by the mystical, magical nature of the wild world,

its history and folklore,

working in the mediums of Silverpoint, Pencil and Watercolour.

My main source of inspiration comes from my work as a gardener, taking care of the world renowned garden at Vann House in Surrey.

Nestled within the beautiful Surrey Hills, Vann is a garden steeped in history tracing back to the 12th century. The garden that is there today is full of a vast array of unique flora and fauna including the Hummingbird Hawk Moth and swathes of Fritillaries as far as the eye can see.

As gardeners at Vann we are conscious of how our roles play a part in the cycle of the natural world around us. The importance of embracing wildflowers, not using chemicals and taking a more thoughtful approach to the gardening process, allows us to nurture the biodiversity of this space creating a sanctuary for our native wildlife. The garden is open to the public with the National Garden Scheme throughout different times of the year and during the Summer months we are open to visitors every Wednesday & Thursday, between 10am and 4pm.
